What a beautiful entry in your blog...

I agree with "Nana"... I am not a single parent, but there are times that I feel inadequate. Just knowing that there is a little person who depends on me makes me strive to do better. I love knowing that my touch/words can comfort and calm my baby. I am so glad that Kaylee has you!

I am sitting here with chill bumps on my arms, reading your thoughts of Fatherhood. As each day passes in your young life, being solely responsible for another life, you will find many times that you feel inadequate, then in the same breath have a feeling of pure thrill knowing that you alone with God's hand on your shoulder have made your child's fears go away. The boo-boos, the tears, the nightmares, all are forgotten when a loving parent holds you tight. Sometimes in life, I have found that my hugs were not welcomed, but I know that someday they will be again. In the meantime, hug her... A LOT. Let her feel your love and calm her fears....And thank you for being there for her..
Love, Nana
